more holiday cheer (not gin this time)

In person, I'd seen Christmas balls hanging from large agaves and liked the look but didn't feel good about piercing my plants with those hooks. Then I stumbled across this idea online somewhere and did my own version. Cheers again, y'all!

I had a few leftovers, so I added them to the light pole/fire hydrant corner agave.

I love this idea and I think I will try it next year. I'll be shopping for some of those ball type decorations after Christmas. Bet I can find a good deal

Les and Lancashire Rose--Thanks!! (I stole the idea, too.) I'm going to shop for more of those ball decorations after Christmas, too, just so I'll have more color options in the future!

I need an agave to do this with! Well, I have a couple babies -- I'll need them to grow a bit. But I love the decorations. Happy holidays!

Adorable and fits you to a T! I'd seen this done in my neighborhood and loved the idea (they used all gold balls in contrast to the silvery blue of the agave). That said, I think I like your more colorful version even better. Definitely going to try and incorporate this into next year's decor.

Have a lovely holiday!

Meredith--Thanks! Hope your holiday season is lovely.

TexasDeb--Thank you, too! I originally thought I'd use just one (contrasting) color, but when I checked the Christmas box in the attic, these were all I had on hand, so I went with it. Hope your holiday is going well!

What a fabulous idea! I'll be doing this next year in the Hill Country.

I found you from Austin Agrodolce and look forward to enjoying Society Garlic in the new year.

Linda--We do try to have lots of fun. I didn't invent the idea and can't remember where I saw it online, but I'll be happy to take credit for spreading it around. Thanks!
