I don't know anything about spiders, but this one seems content creating striking web patterns in our backyard shack, er, I mean detached garage.

This one is a good one. We have these al the time in the garden and they do build in rather annoying places. Eventually they will make a brown paper like sac which they will attach to the wall. I'm not sure what is in it but I do know what comes out. Thousands of tiny spiders will hatch in the spring.
Oh, good! My husband thought it was a good one, too. This one's not in an annoying place; it's about 10 feet from the tomatoes, right now. Thanks again for your help.
