I just couldn’t wait until tomorrow for more perfect lighting: as of 4:15 today, this is our house. Next week, the stucco skirting will be painted a dark earth tone, the new (striped) awnings will have been installed, the back screen door will be hung, and a few other carpentry odds and ends will be finished. We’ll also put new screen stuff in the front screen door, maybe this weekend.

congratulations! looks great...are you thrilled?
Thanks, y'all!
Yep, we're really happy so far! But I'm still a little anxious for the last few odds and ends to be finished. The awning guys are scheduled for tomorrow, so I'll probably post pics after that.
The carpenter's finishing touches are scheduled for Monday, with the painters' finishing touches (mostly painting bottom stucco skirting) scheduled for Tuesday.
Husband Kurt and I plan to work on other details (porch roof patching and screen door stuff) this weekend.
Still, yep: we're pretty thrilled!
